Kano police arrest 9 suspects for child trafficking The Kano State Police Command has apprehended nine individuals involved in interstate trafficking, abduction, and the buying and selling of minors. The state Commissioner of Police, Usaini Gumel, made this known during the parade of the suspects at the Bompai command’s headquarters on Thursday. Gumel stated that the suspects were captured following numerous intelligence-led operations, which exposed and dismantled the long-standing network of interstate trafficking syndicates operating across Kano, Bauchi, Gombe, Lagos, Delta, Anambra, and Imo states.
