Christopher Maikalangu wins AMAC chairmanship election The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Christopher Maikalangu, has emerged winner of the chairmanship election in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC). Maikalangu was declared winner after the collation of results from the various wards across the council, securing the highest number of valid votes cast in the closely contested poll. The Returning Officer announced the results amid cheers from APC supporters who gathered at the collation centre in Abuja.
