French authorities charge ex-teacher over alleged abuse of 89 minors French prosecutors have filed charges against a 79-year-old former teacher accused of aggravated rape and sexual assault involving 89 minors in multiple countries over a period stretching more than five decades. Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday in Grenoble, southeastern France, prosecutor Etienne Manteaux said the suspect was formally indicted in 2024 for offences allegedly committed between 1967 and 2022.
