Heavy rainfall destroys several homes in Yobe (Pictures) By Ibraheem El-Tafseer A torrential downpour on Friday, August 15, caused significant destruction in Potiskum, Yobe State, as heavy rain washed away several houses across different parts of the town. The rainfall, which began late Thursday night and continued into early Friday morning, left many residents displaced after their homes were either damaged or completely collapsed. The worst-hit areas were neighborhoods situated near waterways, where flooding and structural collapse were more severe.
