The Gombe state Commissioner for Health, Dr Ahmed Gana, has disclosed that the state government had plans to buy nine dialysis machines to equip the dialysis centre of the Specialist Hospital, Gombe. Gana, who made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen in Gombe Friday, said the machines would be used for a different line of patients’ management. He said the previous administration awarded the contract for the machines, but the contractor was not mobilised and so abandoned the contract.
