N80 Billion Fraud: Court remands suspended Accountant-General in Kuje prison

A High Court in Abuja, Nigeria's capital, has ordered the remand of suspended accountant-general of the federation, Ahmed Idris at the Kuje correctional facility. Idris was indefinitely suspended without pay by Zainab Ahmed, the minister of finance, budget, and national planning after he was arrested following his failure to honour invitations by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged N80 billion fraud.
