From Sa'adatu Maina, Damaturu Yobe state Commissioner of Basic and Secondary education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss gave out his first salary as commissioner of education to the betterment of orphans. He used the money and purchased livelihood materials to orphans in his home town of Nguru. The items distributed include bags of rice, blankets, and children's wear.
