Junaid Mohammed, second republic lawmaker is dead

Former member House of Representatives of the second republic, Dr Junaid Muhammad is dead. The former lawmaker who served between 1979 to 1983 died in Kano yesterday evening after a brief illness. Dr Mohammed, who was a founding member of the PRP in 1976 under the leadership of the late Mallam Aminu Kano was also a fierce political critic.
