M.D demands public apology, ₦500m compensation from security adviser over alleged slap The Managing Director, Cross River State Water Board Limited, Godwin Nyiam, has dragged the state’s Security Adviser, Major General Okoi Obono(retd), to court over alleged assault. Nyiam’s lawyer, E. E. O,sim disclosed this on Sunday in Calabar, saying his client, demands the sum of ₦500m compensation from Obono for slapping him in public. The incident reportedly occurred at the Fogg Petrol Station in Calabar in April. The legal practitioner stated that his client decided to drag the security adviser to court...
