Workers shut down activities at Ministry of Finance over unpaid allowances Members of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria have staged a protest at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Abuja, shutting down activities at the premises. Dressed in red T-shirts, the workers barricaded the ministry’s gate, preventing vehicular movement in and out of the compound.
