Fire kills 3 in Gombe, destroys N357 million property

Mr Salihu Doho, Deputy Operation Officer, Gombe State Fire Service, said three lives and property worth N357 million were lost to fire in 2020. The fire officer, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe on Tuesday, said men of the service also saved property worth over N1.349 billion. Salihu said, during the period under review, the service was able to save 688 lives, recorded seven injuries, and received 279 incident calls.
