Wike declares public holiday, movement restriction ahead of FCT council elections The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has declared Friday, February 20, 2026, a work-free day and announced a restriction of movement across the territory in preparation for the upcoming Area Council elections.
