Contrary to earlier reports that Major General Hassan Ahmed, former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, was assassinated by bandits in Abuja, Neptune Prime has learnt that the incident happened around Ahoko, Kotonkarfe Local Government Council of Kogi state. According to FCT command Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Mariam Yusuf, the general was killed on Thursday night while transiting along Lokoja – Abuja road.
