Black Panther 2: Chadwick Boseman’s role will not be recast in forthcoming sequel – Disney

Disney has confirmed that the late Chadwick Boseman’s role will not be recast in the forthcoming Black Panther sequel. Boseman, who died from colon cancer earlier this year, played the lead character of King T’Challa in the hit 2018 Marvel movie. According to a tweet by the studio, Black Panther 2 will “explore the world of Wakanda & the rich characters introduced in the first film.” Like the first, Black Panther 2 will be written and directed by Creed’s Ryan Coogler.
