Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, has ordered a thorough investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100-level student of the Department of Microbiology, University of Benin. However, the Commissioner for Social Development and Gender Issues, Hon. Maria Edeko, gave the assurance when she addressed protesting students, who stormed Government House, Benin City, to register their displeasure over the gruesome murder of the undergraduate.
