Police bust ₦500m visa scam, arrest suspects Over 100 Nigerians have fallen victim to a massive visa scam, losing more than ₦500 million in their quest for Canadian and Australian work visas. The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended four suspects in connection with the scam. According to CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, Police Public Relations Officer, the suspects, aged 23-36, were arrested by operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) after the case was transferred from the Ago Okota Division.
