Chief judge pardons 26 inmates, grants bail to 13 others Story by Jane AISO Justice Hafsat Abdulrahaman, Chief Judge (CJ) of Adamawa State, has released 26 inmates and granted bail to 13 others as part of the state’s ongoing jail delivery exercise. During the exercise, 128 cases of convicted inmates were reviewed, with ten inmates released and nine receiving reduced sentences. Six were convicted, while 16 inmates awaiting trial were freed.
