Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi’s stunning goal scoring exploits have been put into context by one remarkable statistic.

The dynamic duo, who have been at the top of the game for the last 10 years, has scored an amazing 704 league goals between them from 2010 to 2019.

And that is more than Manchester United have managed to score in the Premier League as an entire team with 688 goals this decade.
