Tinubu requests Senate’s approval for 7 new ministerial nominees
President Bola Tinubu has called on the Senate to confirm seven ministerial nominees for appointment as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The request was made in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, which was read during Thursday’s plenary session.

In the letter, Tinubu listed the nominees as Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Dingyadi, Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Mukhtar Maiha, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, and Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad.
Mr. Akpabio subsequently referred the request to the committee of the whole for prompt consideration.
