UCL: Muller reveals the problem-player preventing them from qualifying

Wednesday night for Bayern Munich was a memorable one after eliminating Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from the UEFA Champions League (UCL) from the competition.

Neptune Prime reports that PSG were eliminated from the competition in the round of 16 after failing to score in the second leg which was played at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Despite PSG heavyweights – Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, Bayern were able to keep the duo in control.

Meanwhile, Thomas Muller, captain of the German side revealed that Ronaldo was their major problem at the club level. They always found a way to keep Messi silent.

“Against Messi, things always go well at all levels in terms of results. At the club level, Cristiano Ronaldo was our problem when he was at Real Madrid”

To this, Messi and Mbappé will have to wait till next season to renew their Champions League campaign.

The World Cup winner has not always been lucky against Bayern Munich. Just like their recent meeting, Messi was shut down by the Bayern players. He was unable to contribute anything meaningful to the PSG attacks.
