Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Hon. Goni Bukar (Bugon), Executive Secretary of Yobe State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Mohammed Goje and Bursari DPM visited Dapchi to commiserate with the community over the attack in the town by suspected insurgents on Wednesday 4th February 2020.
The team first met the military and police on the ground, commended their effort for repelling the attack, sympathised with them for the casualties and losses and assured them on government readiness to continue supporting them.
The team further visited the district Head of Dapchi Kachalla Yuroma Kamba, who in tears calls for more intensive prayers to avert future occurrence.
The military base and mopol houses and tents were burnt down. Vehicles belonging to security and vigilante were burnt and 3 others catered away.
