PCNI To build capacity of Borno online group

The presidential committee on the Northeast (PCNI) is to partner with Borno Social Media Frontiers, an internet-based organization in Borno State.
This was revealed by the Vice Chairman of PCNI, Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa, when the Organization paid him a courtesy visit at the Borno state  PCNI office, in Maiduguri the Borno state capital.
Alhaji Tumsa commended the Social Media Team for its indigenous nature, the good work it has been rendering especially providing counter-narratives to negative information coming out of Borno and the Northeast.
“The work you’re doing is not only important to Borno but all youth across the nation”.
He also commended the Borno state Governor for his developmental stride and foresight in appointing many productive youths as aides from the Organization.
Furthermore, he urged the BSF for the continuous interface and Promised to partner and support the organization both with Human capacity building training and gadgets in order to enhance the Organization’s capacity,  as well as sourcing Scholarships.
Coordinator of the Borno Social Media Frontiers, as well as Special Assistant (State and National Welfare programs) to the Executive Governor of Borno State Habu Kale Tijjani led the delegation during the visit.
PCNI activities thus far cover the coordination and filling of gaps in the provision of the emergency humanitarian response components of the Buhari Plan in the Northeast.
While on the other hand,  BSF is an internet-based organisation, based in Maiduguri the Borno state capital promoting the good image of Borno state, countering negative and violent narratives coming out of the state as well as uniting the youth of Borno through Social Media.
