The name for the Nigerian national carrier is Nigerian Air.

The Minister of State, Aviation senator Hadi Sirika unveiled the name some few minutes ago at the Farnborough Airshow in London.
The airline will be formally launched on December 19, 2018. The logo and the colour is green and white.
Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise, Africa’s biggest airline, has said it’s in discussions with the Nigerian government for a new national carrier.
It will be recalled that among President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign promises was the resuscitation of the moribund National Carrier and the Federal Government earlier this month announced that a new airline would begin operations this year.
Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation has struggled to support a viable home-grown airline for decades, with a succession of carriers collapsing or slashing routes. That has left the country dependent on services provided mainly by European and Persian Gulf carriers for trips beyond the region.
The Chief Executive Officer, Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise, the largest airline in Africa, Tewolde GebreMariam, yesterday held talks with the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, about the proposal at the Farnborough air show in England, Bloomberg reported.
