The mobilisation committee for the 21st African Senior Athletics Championships (ASACs) has officially announced that notable Nigerian musicians Waje, Phyno, Harrysong, African China and others would thrill fans at the athletics fiesta.
This was made known by the chairman of the committee, Itiakpo Ikpokpo Constantine, while declaring the availability of tickets to be on sale for the championship scheduled for Asaba from August 1 to 5.
According to Ikopkpo, the ticket prices range from N500 for popular side, N1,000 for VIP and N7,000 for VIP tickets.
He noted that the sales outlets are located in various locations in Asaba and Warri, while Kwese TV office in Asaba would handle sales of the VVIP tickets which come with various promotions.
Ikpokpo, the State chairman of the ALGON, said that a road show to mobilise Deltans for the championship would run from July 26 to 28th, 2018 across Delta State.
Also on hand to lend some colour to the tourney would be Erigga and Oritsefemi.
The artistes would be performing at the welcome party on July 31 and during the opening ceremony on August 1, 2018, as well as other evening sessions of the championship.
