Two farmers, Alhaji Sanusi Iro Dabai, a Kaduna based farmer from Funtua local government of Katsina state and his friend Alhaji Kabiru kidnapped on 26 of last month on their way to their farms along Jos Road at Kangimi Village in Igabi local government of Kaduna state, were yesterday killed by their abductors after collecting the ransom of N2.1 million.

The kidnappers also beat up to near death, Malam Muhammad (aka Sarki Noma Madami), the courier who took the ransom money to them.

Neptune Prime‘s reporter in a phone conversation gathered from a family member of late Alhaji Sanusi that the kidnappers, who demanded for N10 million were not satisfied with the N2 million and N100,000 recharge (which they demanded for) taken to them.

The family member however revealed to Neptune Prime that they suspected that the victims had already been killed. He said to our reporter: “they probably killed both of them while the negotiation was going on because after a long time of silence from the kidnappers and no more communication from the kidnapped men, we realised that they were probably dead. We then collaborated with the local security men (vigilantes) and finally a search party found their corpses. Their corpses were recovered and buried according to the Islamic rites”.
