The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) reported said its helicopter crashed in the process of landing in Enugu State. A statement from NAF, said that details of the incident which occurred after a routine flight on yesterday were still sketchy.
The short statement reads, “Nigeria Air Force Helicopter has crashed on landing in Enugu after a routine flight yesterday. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries to any crew member or persons on the ground.
“AM Sadique has directed that, a Board of Inquiry be constituted to determine the cause of the accident.
“Nigeria Air Force continues to solicit the understanding and support of the general public as it strives daily to ensure the security of Nigeria and Nigerians.”
