From Sa’adatu MAINA Damaturu
A case that presented symptoms suspected to be those of Coronavirus was recorded in Damaturu, capital of Yobe State today.
The bearer of the symptoms, a visitor to the capital, was immediately placed on isolation at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital Isolation Facility.
Samples were collected and sent for testing in a National Center for Disease Control accredited lab in Abuja.
Neptune Prime however gathered from Hon. Muhammad Lawan Gana, The state’s Commissioner of Health that the results came out negative and the patient confirmed free from COVID19 and will be discharged tomorrow.
