NYSC suspends CDS meetings indefinitely

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has suspended its week by week Community Development Service exercises indefinitely in an offer to control the spread of the destructive coronavirus.

The announcement, which was marked by NYSC Director of Human Resource Management Abdulrazak Salawu, Friday said the CDS suspension was a result of the expanding instances of Covid-19.

Corps members across the nation meet weekly in their local governments and once in a month in their zones.

The announcement clarified that the CDS gatherings have an enormous number of people coming in close contact.
