Germany Mission has extended support to Nigeria by pledging a sum of €5.5 million to the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund in the fight against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Nigeria disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.
“Germany pledges €5.5 million to the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund. It’s more critical than ever for vulnerable people to have access to clean water, food and shelter. This will enable partners to continue delivering life-saving aid amidst Coronavirus (COVID-19).”
