The ministry of health in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday announced 1,325 new coronaviruses (COVID-19) cases and 169 recoveries.
Most cases were reported in Makkah 356, followed by Riyadh 203, Madinah 225 and Jeddah 224.
With this, the total number of cases in the Kingdom now stands at 21,402, while recoveries stand at 2,953. Deaths from infections now stand at 157, including 5 deaths reported today.

Earlier on Sunday, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, issued an order to partially lift the curfew in all regions of the kingdom, to become from 9 am to 5 pm, starting Sunday through Wednesday, 13 May while keeping a 24-hour curfew in Makkah and in previously isolated neighbourhoods, state news agency (SPA) said.
The order also allowed the opening of some economic and commercial activities, which includes wholesale and retail shops in addition to malls, in the period from 6 to 20 Ramadan.
