CAMTECH to enjoy TETFUND projects interventions

College of Administration Management and Technology (CAMTECH), Potiskum, Yobe State has revealed that it will soon start enjoying the federal government Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) projects.

Ibrahim Bomai Zarma said during an interview in his office today. He disclosed that “we will soon start enjoying the TETFUND Projects in our institution, in the past, our institution is mono-technic but now we are fully of polytechnic status, so now we are within the category of the beneficiaries.

He commended Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni for the support and cooperation in ensuring that the College is improved.

The Rector used the forum to showcase some of the achievements recorded by his tenure which includes the rehabilitation of the existing structures such as the lecture halls, classes, lighting systems, water supply among other facilties. “as you are aware it is an old institution with old facilities, now that we have been upgraded to a Polytechnic status alot of projects will spring up”.

He also commended Buni for the changes withnessed in the educational system of the state ” the recent WAEC and NECO results has made Yobe proud, this is courtesy of the support the sector is receiving from Governor Buni.

The performance of our secondary school students has drastically improved, we had alot of hopes for the future. He has excellently done well to our institution”.

Zarma also said that the North East Development Commission (NEDC) Focal Person in Yobe State, Dr. Ali Ibrahim Abbas and team have today visited the College with the aim of intervention to the provision of Hostel accommodation, Lecture theater, computer Center among others.
