Professor Ben Ezeohagwu is a renowned Nigerian Graphologist, who has made and he’s still making impactful contributions in the world of Graphology.
Professor Ikechukwu Benjamin Ezeohagwu, better known as Professor Ben Ezeohagwu, was born into the Igbo family of Mr Chukwuma Jeremiah Ezeohagwu and Mrs Merceline Uzoma Ezeohagwu in Mgbidi, Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State, Nigeria on the 29th of August, 1970. He is from the Uhuewa Clan in Ezioha Mgbidi, Awgu Local Government Area, Enugu State.
He studied both in Nigeria and the Republic of Benin, and subsequently becomes the first Nigerian Professor of Graphology (Graphoanalysis) and also the first black African Professor of Graphology (Graphoanalysis) – 2015.
Professor Ben Ezeohagwu had worked in a number of Universities as a Pioneer staff, Head of Departments, and Dean of various faculties in Ifangni, Plateau and Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin, respectively at different points in time, namely: Poma International Business University, Ifangni, Plateau, Republic of Benin; Edexcel University, Ifangni Plateau, Republic of Benin; Courage University, Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin; Ultimate University, Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin and British American University, Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin, among others.
Prof. Ben Ezeohagwu has won several awards for his immense contributions as a University administrator and Scholar, Nigerian graphologist, poet and artist.
Professor Ben Ezeohagwu is Wole Soyinka and Chinua Achebe Graphonomical Research Scholar (2019), and a Tripartite Awardee of Culture and Creative Art Forum, Nigeria (CCAF); Society of Nigerian Artists, SNA (Lagos State Chapter) and School of Art, Design and Printing (SADP), Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos.
Ben Ezeohagwu was listed in BLERF’S WHO’S WHO IN NIGERIA ONLINE (2018) for his immense contributions to Nigeria in the fields of Education, Graphology and the Arts, among others. Ben Ezeohagwu is the first black African writer Winner of the Onigraffiks Prize in Literature (2017), among others.
Ben Ezeohagwu belongs to several professional bodies, namely: Fellow, Institute of Graphoanalysts, Nigeria (FIGAN), 2011; Fellow, Institute of Business Technology Management, Nigeria (FIBTM), 2015; Fellow and National President, Penstrokes Institute of Scientific Handwriting Analysts, Nigeria (FPISHAN, PPISHAN), 2016 till date; Master Artist Member, Society of Nigerian Artists (mst. sna), 2018; Fellow, Institute of Leadership And Human Resources, Nigeria (FILHR) 2018, Fellow, Institute For Crisis Resolution, Peacebuilding and Conciliation (FICRPC) 2020, among others.
The following are a few of Ben Ezeohagwu’s contributions to the World of Graphology, among others:
- Ben Ezeohagwu invented the application of GRAPH in GRAPHOLOGY; this system of GRAPH is called BENEZOGRAFS. BENEZOGRAFS consists of GRAPH AND STATISTICAL SYSTEM and serves as a Graphoanalysis tool for depicting FIGURES (NUMBERS) AND STATISTICS as important Graphoanalysis formulations in the application of BENEZOGRAFS in ascertaining human personality traits, human behavioural patterns, among others. In other words, Ben Ezeohagwu invented the use of GRAPH, STATISTICS AND FIGURES as means to scientifically Graphoanalyse human handwritings, drawings, etc. in making the field of GRAPHOLOGY empirically holistic in its Graphoanalysis practice towards attaining optimal results.
- Ben Ezeohagwu also diversified the curriculum and practice of Graphology by pioneering Graphoanalysis researches in the field of Visual arts graphoanalysis, namely: Graphoanalysis of Painting, Pottery, Textile Design, Metal Works, Sculpture and Graphics, among others.
Examples of Visual arts graphoanalysis works executed by Ben Ezeohagwu on some Nigerian artists’ works in this regard include Bruce Onobrakpeya, Kolade Oshinowo, Mike Omoighe, Tonie Okpe and Rukeme Noserime, among others.
Other Graphoanalysis monographs produced by Ben Ezeohagwu include Graphoanalysis of Wole Soyinka’s Signature; Chinua Achebe and his Signature, among others.
