After Neptune Prime story, missing 3-year-old boy in Potiskum found

Reports reaching Neptune Prime has confirmed the return of a three-year-old boy Adamu Abubakar Baban Yawo, who was reportedly kidnapped in his fathers compound on Tuesday in Potiskum, Yobe State.

The father of the child Abubakar Baban Yawo, speaking exclusively to Neptune Prime, said the little boy was found in the house of the district head, who claimed the boy was wandering around when brought to his house.

He said, “On the 28th of last month (September), around 5 pm, my son went missing, I thought it was a little issue until we searched everywhere and couldn’t find him. Then the next day, somebody called and told us that they are with the child and we must pay before they can release him.

“After three days of searching, he was found at the house of the district head who said he wanted to help because the child was said to be wandering around, I thank Allah for his protection over my son”

When asked if a ransom was paid, he said they demanded the sum of 2 million naira but later requested for N 50,000 to be sent for the upkeep of the boy which was sent to a bank account that was discovered to be owned by a POS agent.

However, the father thanked Nigerians and the public for their support and assistance praying that Allah will continue to keep and guide everyone.
