Political thugs that beat up Fadila Abdulrahman not from me – Hon. Satomi Ahmed

The member representing Jere Federal Constituency of Borno State in the National Assembly, Honourable Satomi Ahmed, has denied in an apology letter that he was not aware and did not send the political thugs that beat up one Fadila Abdulrahman who is a food vendor at Shehu Sanda Kyarimi park Maiduguri.
“I want to use this medium to assure the general public that since I received the news I have alerted the security agencies to carry out a full investigation and bring the culprit to book. Justice must be done to Fadila Abdulrahman who was attacked and beaten by some political thugs where she was selling food in Maiduguri, I will want to add that I will never be a party to any criminal activities or support the so-called ECOMOG, a group of unguided youths that are always available for politicians to use them against their opponent.”

Similarly, Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Zulum also issued a statement promising to bring those responsible for this ugly incident to book so that in future it would serve as a lesson to those that would want to take the law into their hands. His government, he added will not tolerate any act of criminality in Borno State, as he has been working hard to ensure that his people and their properties are protected.
He swiftly directed the security agencies to arrest these criminals, and at the time of this report, it was gathered that the culprits were arrested and security agencies have even recovered dollars from them which they alleged that their sponsor was the one that gave them the money after they carried out what he asked them to do.
It could be recalled that some youths yesterday, Sunday visited the restaurant of Fadila Abdulrahman and beat her up for criticizing the member representing Jere Federal Constituency, Engineer Satomi Ahmed and they were openly seen displaying dollars which they claimed came from the member, this development has since been condemned by several individuals in the state.
