“We owe Nyako a great debt and this is the time to settle the debt. We all know the peoples oriented projects he brought, especially his various empowerment programs which impacted the lives of every family in Adamawa.

“I remember with nostalgic feelings how the local apprenticeship skills, and other vocational empowerment projects removed thousands of Adamawa indigenes across the state from poverty.

“Despite that, Abdulaziz has also acquitted himself when he served the people of Adamawa central senatorial zone in the past,” he said.

Similarly, Usman Ibrahim and former chairman of PDP in Adamawa State Umar Kugama all endorsed Abdulaziz Nyako adding that he has no rival if integrity, track record, capacity and excellence are the yard stick for electing a representative.

They however urged the party to act decisively against any act of indiscipline noting that it is one of the critical challenges facing the party currently.

The APC stalwarts who urged the delegates not to hesitate in voting Nyako said it is a payback for the goodwill and tremendous leadership hoisted by the Nyako family.

Speaking during his declaration, Abdulaziz Nyako, urged the delegates to elect the most competent aspirant.

Nyako reminded the APC stalwarts that their position to elect the best person is a trust which they must hold and discharge tenaciously as they will be questioned by God.

He noted that the next senate will face a harculean task in view of the insecurity and other economic and social crisis facing the nation. He therefore urged the delegates to do the right thing and save the country from impending destruction.

Nyako urged the delegates to elect people with proven character into various political offices so they can work for the good of the entire nation.

Also commenting on behalf of the chairman of the party in the state, Ibrahim Bilal, the secretary of the party, Raymond Chidama vouched for Nyako’s integrity.

He urged the delegates to elect the person with good track record, integrity and competence.

Similarly, other speakers at the event shower glowing encomiums on the aspirant and urged the delegates to trust Nyako with the party’s ticket as he is the best man for the job.
