Sustain environmental cleanliness to avoid diseases – Doctor urges Kogi residents

The People of Kogi State have been called upon to sustain environmental cleanliness for proper hygiene.
The provost, Kogi State College of Health Science and Technology Idah, Doctor Solomon Anyegu, made the call while speaking with newsmen on the importance of clean environment.
Doctor Solomon said healthy living is wealth, noting that any society that neglect it’s enviroment will attract wild animals and deadly diseases.
The provost charged environmental health workers in the rural areas to remain proactive in their profession through necessary counseling with the aim of improving the living conditions of the people.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his support to all sectors of the state economy, pointing out that the Governor’s political will for the college is commendable.
Dr. Solomon reiterates determination to partner with relevant health bodies in the state and the country to sustain the current ranking of being the best college of Health Science and Technology in the country.
The provost charged students of the institution to remain dedicated to their studies stressing that as middle class health personnel they must remain noble.
He called on the youths and students to shun vices inimical to the attainment of their goal pointing out that the society is in dire need of solution providers.
