Adamawa lawmaker provides free medical outreach to constituents

Binos Yaroe, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senator representing Adamawa South, has provided free medical outreach to 558 people in Nasarawo Jereng ward of Mayo Belwa Local Government Area as a New Year gift.

The head of the medical team, Dr Jama Medan, disclosed this to newsmen during the outreach in Jereng area of Adamawa State.

He said that the patients received free medical treatment which includes surgeries, consultation services, laboratory and pharmacy attention.

Medan described the outreach as a success due to support and cooperation of the patients.

He commended his team for their commitment, which he attributed to the quality equipment on ground for them to work with.

Medan disclosed that the grand finale of the outreach would hold on 9th January, where patients are expected to come from neighbouring states.

Yaroe explained that his decision to provide free medical services to his constituents was borne out of his desire to ensure people at the grassroots have access to quality medical services.

He said that what keeps his free medical outreaches moving from when it began in 2019 was due to his genuine intention to ensure the people in the zone reap the needed dividends of democracy.

The lawmaker pledged to upgrade the primary healthcare centre in Nasarawo Jereng and other projects if re-elected, to enable the people of the area have access to better health services,

Yaroe further called on people in the zone to use their Permanent Voter Cards wisely to elect the right politicians.
