Gov. Buni hosts Sallah reception for top government officials, clerics, politicians, businessmen

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has hosted top government officials, clerics, politicians, and business men to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration in the state.
The Sallah reception which is the tradition of Buni’s administration in the state took place at the banquet hall Government House Damaturu.
Represented by his Deputy, Idi Barde Gubana, he expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for preserving people’s lives to witness yet another Eid el kabir Sallah peacefully and in good health in the state.
Gubana enjoined citizens of the state to intensify prayers for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Mai Mala Buni for Allah’s guidance, and for peace to continue to reign in the state and the country at large.
He also prayed for bumper harvest during this year’s farming season.
On his remarks at the event, the Chief Imam Yobe mosque and Islamic Centre, Ustaz Hudu Mohammad Yusuf, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for giving the citizens of the state the opportunity to observed the Sallah period successfully.
The Imam offered prayers at the end of the Walima reception for peace and progress of the state and the nation in general.
