Management staff, traditional rulers laud Nasarawa Gov for upgrading 4 PHCs to General Hospitals

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, has been applauded for upgrading four (4) Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) to General Hospitals in the state.

The commendation was given during a familiarisation visit by the management staff of HMB to the new facilities and the palaces of the traditional leaders where the facilities are located.
During a visit to the Sarkin Gudi, HRH Alhaji Audu Sule; Osakyo of Assakio, His Royal Highness Osula Inarigu Ovedooh; the Emir of Azara, Mohammed Ibrahim Musa, and the Esu Karu, Pharmacist Luka Panya Baba, the management staff showered prayers and accolades on Governor Sule for upgrading facilities in their domain, reiterating that it will ameliorate the sufferings of citizens and other neighbouring communities that usually travel far to access qualitative health care services.
Leading the delegation for the take-off of services in the facilities, the Chief Medical Director, Dr Egba Edego, called on the host communities to take ownership and patronage of the facilities, he requested the communities to ensure the security of newly posted staff and assist with the provision of accommodation for the staff in order to access qualitative health care services.
In their separate responses, the traditional rulers all commended Governor Sule for taking health care to the rural communities. They also promised to provide a good working relationship with the newly posted staff in the General Hospitals.
