Edo deputy governor moves office to building with no electricity, water
The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, has made the decision to move his office outside the vicinity of the Government House.
The new office, located at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, is in close proximity to the government house. However, sources reveal that the new office is still undergoing renovation and lacks running water at the moment, despite the presence of plumbers.

Furthermore, the office is deemed uninhabitable due to the absence of electricity, waterlogging, and limited space for work.
Despite these circumstances, the state government asserts that the deputy governor’s new office falls within the designated area of the Government House.
This development follows the recent withdrawal of a lawsuit filed by Shuaibu at the Federal High Court, which aimed to prevent his alleged removal from office by Governor Godwin Obaseki.
