US-Israeli strike destroys water infrastructure in Southern Iran Iranian authorities have confirmed the United States and Israel of carrying out an early-morning attack on critical water infrastructure in Hormozgan Province, resulting in widespread water shortages across parts of southern Iran. According to local officials, the strike targeted two water reservoirs in the Bemani District of Sirik County, destroying facilities that supplied drinking water to residents in the area.
