Gunmen kill village leader, abduct nine in Abuja community attack
Gunmen struck the quiet village of Pavu in Gaube Ward, Kuje Area Council of the FCT, where they tragically killed the Madaki, Manasseh Gambo, and left a trail of terror by abducting nine other innocent residents.
Samson Ishaya, a resident who recounted the harrowing incident to Daily Trust, revealed that the assailants descended upon the community at approximately 1:00 am on Tuesday, September 2023.

The abducted individuals have been identified as Haruna Musa, Josiah Gonna, Emmanuel Haruna, Afayinya Josiah, Benjamin Thomas, Sister Gift, Shalom Josiah, Patience Thomas, and FearGod Thomas.
Regrettably, the Madaki, who held the position of second-in-command to the village head, met a tragic end as the kidnappers fatally shot him when he attempted to escape their clutches.
Ishaya further reported that the assailants ransacked local shops during their criminal spree.
