Earlier  speaking,  Malam  Baba  Yusuf, Group  CEO,  Global  Investment  and Trade  Company  (GITC),  delved  into  the pressing  issues  facing  Nigeria, particularly  at  the  national  and subnational  levels.

Speaking on the conference theme, “Resilience: The Bridge to Your Dreams,” and the topic, “The Journey of Resilience and Success: Breaking Boundaries and Defying Expectations,” Yusuf highlighted the critical relevance of these discussions amidst the evolving socio-political and economic realities in the country.

He emphasised the detrimental impact of societal neglect on the younger generation, stressing that without intentional support, Nigeria risks plunging into the abyss of backwardness.

Yusuf underscored the need for strategic, purposeful, and determined resilience in the pursuit of success. Drawing parallels between the marathon of athletics and the journey to greatness and urged individuals to cultivate qualities such as momentum, stamina, perseverance, and determination.

According to Yusuf, unlike a one-off competition, the path to greatness is a continuous marathon with rewards at every step and an ultimate reward awaiting those who reach the finish line.

In conclusion, he warned that failing to support the youth would lead to the conscious and inadvertent destruction of society and its future.
