Veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, is currently in critical condition and has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital in Abuja.
Reports suggest that the 63-year-old actor, who is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, slumped in the toilet after feeling weak and was rushed to the hospital.
Fans of Orji have taken to social media to offer prayers for his recovery following a post by a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, who revealed that Orji is currently unable to walk or talk.
He said, “PLEASE PRAY FOR JACK ORJI.
“Nollywood Actor Zack Orji in critical condition in the ICU of the National Hospital in Abuja.

“According to reports Orji can’t walk or talk, and all kinds of test is being run on him to ascertain what is wrong.
“He was rushed to the hospital two days ago after he slumped in the toilet after being quite weak for a few weeks.”
This news comes just a few weeks after reports emerged about the failing health of another Nollywood actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu.
Orji’s first movie was Unforgiven Sin in 1991, and he has since appeared in numerous films, earning him a place among Nollywood’s legends.
In addition to acting, Orji is also a singer and preacher of God’s word. He is married to Ngozi Orji and they have three children together.
In 2000, Orji made his directorial debut with the movie WEB, which starred himself and Ghanaian actress Kalsoume Sinare. The film won the award for best collaborative film at the Ghana Awards in 2001.
