KACRAN applauds NEDC for regional development initiatives
The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has received commendations from the Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) for its significant role in driving progress and prosperity in the North East region.
KACRAN lauds the NEDC’s unwavering commitment to regional development, highlighting its efforts in augmenting federal government policies and programs, particularly in enhancing security operations to combat insurgency.
According to statement by Hon Khalil Mohd Bello, National President, Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN),the NEDC’s provision of utility vehicles and essential materials has notably contributed to improved regional security, marking a significant shift from previous insecurity challenges in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Acknowledging the Commission’s proactive stance on matters vital to regional security and welfare, KACRAN underscores the transformative potential of the NEDC in uplifting the North East and its people.
“The association also applauds the Commission’s inclusive approach, which considers submissions from various stakeholders, resulting in the reconstruction of schools, healthcare facilities, and support for pastoralist communities affected by insurgency”.

Furthermore, KACRAN urges President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider increasing the NEDC’s annual budget, emphasizing the need to empower the Commission’s governing board to sustain its vital work in reconstruction, development, and support for internally displaced persons.
