NFF to employ foreign technical adviser for Super Eagles

Following a string of disappointing performances under the leadership of coach Finidi George, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has made the decision to hire a foreign technical adviser for the Super Eagles.

After a recent board meeting, the Executive Committee announced plans to bring in an expatriate Technical Adviser to work with the team for upcoming AFCON qualifiers and remaining FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

The NFF also aims to strengthen its Technical Department and restructure the Technical and Development Sub-Committee.

While details regarding the current coach’s future with the team were not disclosed, the NFF expressed regret to fans for the team’s lackluster performances in the World Cup qualifiers.

The committee pledged to take necessary steps to ensure a more prepared squad for future competitions.

The Executive Committee also highlighted the need for improved player attitudes and emphasized the importance of scouting talented Nigerian players worldwide to enhance the national team’s performance.
