Police Affairs Minister, Gaidam, congratulates Tinubu, Nigerians on 64th Independence Day celebration 

The Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, has felicitated with President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians on the occassion of 64th Independence Day Anniversary.

In a felicitation message obtained by Neptune Prime, Gaidam said Nigeria’s independence day is to celebrate the courage, sacrifices, and resilience of the patriots who fought for the nation.

The minister further reaffirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Police Affairs towards ensuring the safety and security of all Nigerians.

“On this significant occasion of our 64th Independence Day celebration, I extend warm greetings to our dear president and the entire citizens of our great nation.

“Today, we commemorate the courage, sacrifices, and resilience of the patriots who fought for our sovereignty, and we also recognise the ongoing journey towards peace, unity, and development.

“As we reflect on the strides we’ve made since gaining independence, I want to reaffirm the commitment of the Ministry of Police Affairs towards ensuring the safety and security of every Nigerian.

“Security remains the foundation upon which a prosperous nation is built. It is with this in mind that we continue to implement strategic reforms aimed at strengthening our police force, modernising our operations, and enhancing community partnerships to foster trust and cooperation.

“Mr. President, under your visionary leadership, we are witnessing renewed hope and progress in addressing the security challenges that have plagued us in recent years.

“Your administration’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of the Nigerian people has been pivotal in shaping a safer and more prosperous future for our country.

“To my fellow Nigerians, I urge you to continue to play your part in promoting peace and security within your communities. Together, with our collective effort, we can overcome the challenges before us and ensure that Nigeria continues to thrive as a beacon of hope in Africa.

“As we celebrate today, let us renew our commitment to the ideals of unity, justice, and progress. May we continue to rise as one nation, bound by our common desire for a better tomorrow.
