61-year-old missing farmer found inside python’s belly (Video)

A 61-year-old farmer, La Noti, was found dead inside the belly of a large python. The unfortunate incident occurred in South Buton, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia.

According to reports, the farmer was declared missing on July 5, 2025, when he didn’t return home from his plantation.

While searching for him, residents discovered an unusually large python with a swollen stomach in Majapahit Village, Batauga Subdistrict, around 2:30 p.m. Central Indonesia Time.

They killed the snake and cut it open where they discovered La Noti’s body inside.

Reports vary on the snake’s length, with estimates ranging from 5 to 8 meters (16 to 26 feet).

Local authorities, including Laode Risawal from the South Buton Disaster Management Agency, confirmed the incident, noting that it was the first known case of a python swallowing a human in the area.
