Terrorists ambush military convoy, kill Major, cart away weapons

Terrorists have ambushed soldiers from the Nigerian military school, the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and killed a Major at Rijiya Daji village of Niger State.

SaharaReporters reports that the gunmen ambushed a military convoy along the Mariga Local Government Area of Niger State.

The deceased major was identified as CB Samuel.
The gunmen also set ablaze an operational vehicle while guns were carted away.
Also, an officer was declared missing in action and feared abducted by the terrorists.

A military signal exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters also confirmed the incident.
