A 30-year-old man, Kaitolu Franklin Ifesindi, is currently on the run after allegedly stabbing his brother to death in Okpanam, Delta State.
According to reports, the suspect attacked the victim, Ngozi Iweanya, 33, and stabbed him to death on Friday, July 8, aftert an argument over N2,000.

“Ngozi and Kaitolue are relatives. There was a burial in Okpanam on Friday, after the burial, it rained heavily, so a car got stuck and they both decided to help the driver to push her car,” a source said.
“The woman gave them the sum of N2000 and Ngozi accepted it, which made Kaitolue upset. He started fighting Ngozi, tore his shirt and even injured him.
“Ngozi later offered him an olive branch, thinking that all was well between them. Unknown to him, Kaitolue waited for him outside and as soon as he stepped out, Kaitolue stabbed him with a bottle and he eventually bled to death.”
The police command in the state is yet to respond to the incident as at the time of report.
